When people become comforted by the fact that the rich will bear the brunt of any form of government seizure, the reality is:
1. The truly rich will not get had.
2. It is the less-wealthy majority that gets the shaft.
3. Their envy affords cover for the looters.
Mankind has been extorting others for millennia. It comes in the form of monarchies, feudalism, and various forms of socialism as well as individuals. When you limit the size of government and their affect on capitalism (which only represents the free exchange of value-enhancing work), you eliminate 3 of the four more effective means of extortion.
