Here is why our cities are filing for bankruptcy (ok, I anticipate more than just Detroit). For the most part, these city workers do not have adequate skills to actually contribute in the private sector. But, by the avg. annual salaries given, you would think these bureaucrats are inventing the next personal computing device.
